Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Juventus midfielder Christian Poulsen, reports Sky Sports.The Italian club have apparently granted the Denmark international permission to leave and a number of sides have been linked with the 29-year-old defensive midfielder, including Fulham and Everton. The Danish Player of the Year for 2005 and 2006 only joined Juventus last July in a € 9.75M deal.
“But it is believed that Rafa Benitez's Liverpool are in pole position to secure Poulsen's signature,” says the story.
