Red’s ’09-10 fixture list produces a gift on Torres’ birthday

Liverpool’s 2009-10 Barclays Premier League fixtures were announced today and the Reds season kicks off with an away game at Spurs on Saturday August 15. The first Merseyside derby takes place at Goodison on Saturday 28 November, with the Anfield leg on February 6. The other main fixture to look out for is of course when the Reds take on Manchester United? They play at home on October 24, with the second fixture at Old Trafford on March 20th. This date is of note because it is Fernando Torres’ birthday. Let’s hope El Niño will be having double celebrations that day.
