As reported on LFC Alert last Tuesday, highly rated French left back Chris Mavinga has joined the Reds from Paris St Germain. The official web site revealed the news yesterday. Mavinga, 18, can also play in the centre of defence and has represented his country at U18 level. Arsenal have also been linked with the defender. Mavinga will team up with fellow compatriot David Ngog joined Liverpool from PSG last summer.

Reds sign Mavinga from Paris St Germain
