Transfer SpeculationJuventus are believed to be renewing there interests in buying inspirational playmaker Xabi Alonso, following Rafa Benitez’s admission that he will need to sell players in order to buy this summer, claims today’s Telegraph. Alonso has had an unbelievable season for the reds and many a fan would loath to see him depart for the Serie A outfit. When asked if he would reject an increased bid from Alonso's former suitors, Benitez said: "I don't know if Juventus would have that amount of money this summer because there is a crisis all around the world. We will have to wait and see. We didn't want to sell him last summer but in football everybody has a price." Real Madrid are also believed to be interested in landing Alonso with presidential candidate Florentino Perez especially keen on landing him, should he win the Spanish club's forthcoming elections.
